As I was waiting for the better half to finish her cosmetic purchase at Nordstrom of all places, I wandered into the men's shoe dept and came across these sweet boots. So, naturally I turn them over to see the price-220 maracas. Holyfuckinsweetmotherfuckinfuck...so I got them .....haha.... sike. They're cool in a gay sort of way or vise versa but they are flat at the toe making for easy shifting just like my old nana monkey boots.

AutoCAD, Crayons: whatever works!

Bought some paint from finishmasters: black, white, bronze, and ruby red. Took out my niece's crayons and together this is what we came up with.

I redesigned and just finished another batch of stacks. I also made some tooling to speed the process up a bit. I will now include hose clamps that use snapping teeth instead of the conventional worm-drive ones. Pictures are on the way. My camera is not wanting to open up for me so I think it's off to the store to see what I can get. Are there any digital cameras made in the USA? It would be nice to have a camera that lasts longer than 9 months. China sucks.

Brass Pegs...

I got a request the other day to make some brass footpegs to the shape that reminds me of a slapper. I was pretty happy theY way the came out. Heavy as shit though!! Getting old!!!!

Had a birthday this past weekend with cake, ice cream, hats, the whole nine yards. Started with about 8 cases of beer and ended up with 10. WTF?? I know I had my share but some friends didn't show which bummed me out. Presents? All I wanted was a fucking massage. My back's been so fucked up lately I didn't even ask for the happy ending, just an honest massage. Didn't get that either but I did get a gift card to the GAP and Home Depot- maybe I'll buy a pair of boxers and a shovel. What did mom always say about having clean underwear? A good stretch last night helped though; just need to do it more often and drink less cuz the hangovers last longer the older you get.

Shortening forks isn't as easy sometimes, especially when you're dealing with a bmw and its freaky-deaky internals. I cut 2" off and re-bored and threaded the ID which only took me about an hour and 1/2 but compared to my forks which I just made spacers underneath the dampeners- took only 5 minutes. Here's a nice close-up inside the lathe.

Ahh germans and their bmws. Actually 1/2 mexican but I'm not telling anyone, oops. Here is a pic of this black beauty. It was a little tricky since you need to keep the charge light or else, well, it won't charge. I threw entire loom away and started fresh with new fuseholders and relays. All exposed wires are black/white cloth-covered from www.lowbrowcustoms.com which contribute to his black-on-black theme.

Left for the Mann Show at 5:30 through some rain then arriving wet but happy at another great southern California event. On my way home at a gas station some dude asked me if my bike was hard to ride. I told him not as hard as riding a 6000 pound bagger. I think he got it.

Jobs are scarce, businesses are leaving the state, legislators can't agree about anything, the governator needs to return to acting..... but the weather is nice, still riding my super-scooter to work, events after events left and right so what's really to bitch about. It's the 70's all over again.

A great start on this sporty w/ a monoshock swingarm but instead of this fat forkin frontend, how bout a girder with a matching coilover shock and let's say about 38 degrees of rake?
