This time it will be at LA Speed Shop in Alhambra. Chris is one of my favorite builders as his ingenuity and attention to detail are insane. Show up and show support for Street Chopper and their host.

Word of the Day... Sintered Bronze
What sucks more than having a bunch of extra shit bracketry around your carb? Billet bracketry.
I cut down these windforcer breathers, you know the ones with a billet dumbell hanging down. So I pressed in some brass npt fittings and screwed in a bronze breather and now we got something not too understated and not too "look how much I spent on a stupid gadget for my bike." Sometimes it's easier to use what you got than to start from scratch.

Presidential Suck Day
Fun and productive weekend for me!! Hung out with some good friends, had some great Thai food, solved a clutch perch/cable issue bugging for months, just needs a little welding and blending, and I completely tore apart my friend's modern Triumph wiring loom and figured out what I need to do to eliminate the heat thermostat switch, throttle position sensor, kick stand switch, clutch depress switch, rear brake light switch, and 10 lbs of wiring hidden in the headlight bucket which will also go in favor of a ducati bug eye halogen light. We'll be putting the battery, fuse block, relays, starter solenoid, in a custom box under the seat, barely noticeable to the human eye and relocate the rectifier in order to eliminate an extra mile of wires under his new ultra sexy aluminum tank...and breathe.... Pics soon!!!

HOT-N-READY Mikuni Tapped
A commom problem with Mikunis is not their performance but the lack of air cleaners that fit without adapters, until now. I took the carb right off my buddy Chris' bike and told him my plan:
Drill and tap four 10-32 blind holes into the carb and mount my air cleaner directly to it. Easy right? Actually it was. Second and third photo shows the carb with CV adapter that doesn't help at all to hold the a/c in place and requires the breather bracket to hold the whole assembly together. This usually adds 1/2" to the width of the a/c and when you're a tall guy with forwards it sucks. So This was the reasoning behind trimming the extra fat. It came out perfect and clears all linkage as you can see here in the first photo. PIZZA,PIZZA.

More Moto Madness...
Aluminum plate bracket I made to fit the black beauty tail light from Lick's Cycles. It will mount to his upper shock mount. And of course, Hella 500's are a helluva way to light your way through the cold, cold night, and I've been making quite a few of these little mounts for them. All in all, parts are parts...

Gadgets...
Here's a clamp that I made for an argyle-loving outlaw. You may know him if you dig 3/4's. I will incorporate a pull cable start that will actuate a lever on his solenoid. The two other chingaderas will direct an oil hose up to a lil K&N breather. All this will surround his key switch and bezel to match.

Tatuesday from Hell
This poor, innocent creature forced to pose for this pic was submitted by the one and only Lucifer. Be certain you will see him soon riding his 666 Honda to a party near you.

Hella Install
Tim, Tony, and Mellow came over the other night to share some beers, stories and a dull-ass uni-bit drill. I installed and wired up Tim's bright-as-day Hella 500 fog light using the mount I made last week and a cool little water-proof switch mounted on a gusset on the neck.

Un Cafesito Porfavor
Quickity-quick mockup with new front end I got from the man Travis "Dirty" Sanchez (painter extraordinaire and overall funny guy). I was gonna do simple chop but with forks from a Yammy R6 i think modern cafe is more like it. Motor is a Honda CB750 DOHC and puts out 77hp stock so after putting this fat bitch on a diet we'll see how she handles the curves. My old KZ tank may get slimmed down if I can't trade it for some other necessities and that seat was just there and will have no part of this build.

Monday's Suck
Great weekend!!!! The day at the Swap Meet yesterday provided some excitement, laughs and blue balls. Mcnuggets was the word of the day, a pair of swindlers needed to be chased down, sold some shit, talked a lot of shit, got almost everyone there to fondle my oil tank only to walk away without buying it. Craze sold his '67 Ford van to a guy that forgot to come back and test drive it, pay for it, and take ownership of it, leaving Craze with a nasty case of Seller's blue-balls. All in all it was a good day in Socal.

Hella Light Bracket
I wanted to make a nice artsy piece that usually goes unnoticed but is required to be strong, straight, and light. I don't really care if no one does see it as long as the customer appreciates the work that went in to such a forgotten part. It will bolt up to an existing hole on his bottom tree via a polished stainless carriage bolt. And yes, it has to be this long so when the light is level, it wont hit.
