Fill that Gap...
...between my tank and seat with a sheet of aluminum to dissipate some heat, a key switch, light switch, and a cig lighter for charging my cell phone?!?!?! Yea charging my cell phone. Not shown is another plate I hid all my electronics mounted to the inside mounting bosses of my rear master cylinder. No need to look for new mounting points when you can use what you got.

4-2-1 BLASTOFF !!!!!!!!!!!
No not a typo. A homeboy version of the 4 into 2 into 1 headers made with bends from around the shop and collectors from Cone Engineering. These are the shit when it comes to performance, ground clearance and sound. I'll make a video soon once this lil beast is ready to be unleashed on the world yet again.

Two Years Old and Breathing Well, finally....
Big Ed sent some pics of his '09 Nightster with my deep dish AC bolted on. I love the reaction folks get when they see it installed. It brings attention of course but not in an overly busy way if you catch my drift. Thanks Ed.

Gettin Ready...
...for some EDR action, hopefully, that's if my throttle cables come in, I finish my tank, the upholsterer sews up the seat, my pipes get fitted & welded all by Thursday. We'll see !!! I cut out the tunnel off this baby so it can fit my triple backbone and a little more fuel. This insert I formed to fit with a hammer and dolly. Now off to Matt the welder.

Cock-Eyed Air Cleaner
I've always liked the bug-eye or holy-moly Air cleaner, but always hated the quality and the fact that a 6-year old Chinese girl made it. So I figured I can do it better than a Chinese girl so here's my interpretation. I started with a 5-1/4 diameter x 1-3/4 piece of 6061 aluminum and whittled away most of the innards until it looked more like a velocity stack. Next I used one of my Bubba cast covers and put some holes in and cleared out the inside ribs for some 3/8" UNI filter foam. I'm using the perforated sheet to hold the foam in and I'm still waiting for ssome stainless mesh to squeeze out of the holes to give it that final touch. Final assembly pics coming soon, so stay tuned.
