Man Doggles
I stopped by Biltwell HQ this afternoon and left with their new anti-fog goggle. These are super comfortable/flexible and comes in black, gray, and white. You can find these here, so get 'em for the road, dirt, or the snow. Thanks Mike!

After a couple of fender and strut chops I did for friends, they were left looking neutered cuz something was just missing back there. I have been asked to chop it but leave enough room for the OL, make a sissy bar but "I want to be able to take it off easily." So I came up with these grab bar tail loops (still in prototyping stage). I would like to get some input on these to see what sporty guys think of their rear ends.
* What I'm thinking is they'll be available p-coated or raw for those who want to weld in a sissy bar, school-boy book-rack, p-pad tab, or tail light.
* They will mount in place of the 1/4" spacer in between frame and shock and lock into groove in front providing you drill a 5/16 hole.
* They will include a tab welded on inside of loop to hold fender or tail light.
* For earlier models I will change the ears a bit.
* Will accommodate a Biltwell Banana seat (shown with struts cut off below)
Watcha think?? All comments welcome...........

My baby girl turns 19......
It's nice to know you've done something great in your life; not to brag, but I am super proud of how my daughter is growing up. Now to get her out of the house so I can make her room into an office!!! Hahaha........

Company/Product Review for...
I met the guys of SM at the last Hippy Killer Hoedown and was immediately drawn to their racey, performance oozing Triumphs and Sportsters. Being a fairly new company in the industry they didn't have many products to offer, but the quality and style of their parts were top notch.
I purchased this sexy finned derby cover, cast out from A 365 aircraft quality aluminum. These come pretty and polished, but I gave it the scotch-brite treatment and as you can see, it is a clean looking product that is pure quality. Support these guys for they're here to stay, and check them out here!

Cut the Swiss Cheese.......
Here are some pics sent to me by Ricardo Mueller from the land of fine watches, chocolate, and choppers, Switzerland. I was curious how a deep dish would look black and to my delight, I delight in what I see. He also got some slapstick pegs to help keep his knees in that fresh mountain breeze. Thanks for sharing Ric...the bike came out super cool and I especially dig that tank paint...FRESH....

Parachute Pull Start
Normally you pull the rip cord when stopping that beast, but in this case we wanted to get it going!! So here's the thing...you know the brass knuckle pull starts, right but sometimes with high and tight pipes there's no room for it or even to get your hand in there to push the solenoid button. On the left side of the bike now, this bracket pulls triple duty : Pull start, push-button on/off 20amp switch, and a hold-down for the vent hose and filter. It took a couple tries to get out all the kinks but I know Mikey is stoked now how it all turned out, plus he's a big nipple guy as well as a cougar hunter so I took that into consideration when designing it.

Sportylicious
This is Jarel's '08 Nightster that had some low ass thunderheaders and in need of a sissybar and better stopping so he gave me a call to make some magic happen. Well I'm no magician but do have some tricks up my sleeve. I cut his muffler off and pie cut it angling it up for some extra ground clearance. Next, I whipped up a bolt-on molded sissy bar onto his fender struts and mounted a TitMouse Tail light from AfterHours Choppers. And finally a Tokico caliper swap was in order to get things slowed down. All aluminum all the time, well sometimes.

KZ woes
Being broke is one thing but being broke with the bike down is downright fucked up. I'm looking at a 3-angle valve job, new guides, seals, springs, new cam chain while it's apart and it needs new rings. Now comes the fun part..... rings for a stock bore are very hard to come by as it turns out, and Kawasaki stopped making over-bore pistons. That makes all the pistons on Ebay at a premium price, but Wiseco (to the rescue) makes a 2mm over piston kit which will make her more of a screamer than she already was. How's that for some imaginary fun?!?! Now off to make some cheddar........
Bubba spotted....
..on this good looking sporty. I found this pic on the innerwebbings taken at one of many Dice parties (next one is this Friday in NYC). If you don't know Bubba, that's what I call my air cleaners, 5" cast aluminum with a special order K&N filter to boot. Add a Buell bracket and you're ready for some heavy breathing. Thanks for the support freedom rider.......
