Progress

The front end got a major upgrade by my friend Eddie at MBR (Munoz Brothers Racing) with Race Tech springs and emulators. Eddie works part time for Race Tech of Corona and runs MBR out of his garage, so if you want killer deal on suspension work from an honest guy, drop me a message and I'll provide you with his point of contact. Can't wait to try these babies out!

On top of the fork upgrade, the front now sports Speed Merchant's fork adjusters and a SS brake line guide made by BCM.

I should receive all the parts needed to complete the front end tomorrow. Can't wait!

Late Night Mock-Up

Just got home from a shitty long day to find the bend I ordered last week at my doorstep. After cleaning up the bend and cone with some scrotch-brite pad I slipped it in the collector. The cone with the 18 degree bend made the new exhaust setup about 4-5" longer than the original setup and I think it fits the bike well. Exhaust should be done next week, complete with spring retainers, solid rear mount, and a little bit of welding.

-Finish conversion
-Swap out Air Cleaners
-Came home
-Johnny and I went back to pick up Wompy
-Ate Japanese in Costa Mesa

-In-N-Out
-Home

Next up, new seat/position, and 15" shocks. All in all, chain looks tough!

Company/Product Review for...

I met the guys of SM at the last Hippy Killer Hoedown and was immediately drawn to their racey, performance oozing Triumphs and Sportsters. Being a fairly new company in the industry they didn't have many products to offer, but the quality and style of their parts were top notch.

I purchased this sexy finned derby cover, cast out from A 365 aircraft quality aluminum. These come pretty and polished, but I gave it the scotch-brite treatment and as you can see, it is a clean looking product that is pure quality. Support these guys for they're here to stay, and check them out here!

Heavy Breathing

The Sporty was in need of some heavy breathing, so "Bubba" came to the rescue. Bubba+Bates Pegs+Pull-Starter= 10+hp! Maybe not that much...
