Buy it, Ride it, Love it.......
My buddy Temecula Terry from Alhambra is selling his beloved Thruxton, so cash out that sorry 401K you've been losing money on for the last 5 years and put a smile back on your face. I rewired this bike myself and must say it is the cleanest Thruxies I've ever seen. Handmade gas tank, Bultaco type fairing, racing suspension, custom mods all over the place make this baby a badass canyon carver and overall head turner. Long Beach Swapppp....
Picked up some neat lil bits & pieces for a top-secret project and snapped some pics of some bikes in the corral. The Raiders didn't make the playoffs but did make it to the swap.

Progress
The front end got a major upgrade by my friend Eddie at MBR (Munoz Brothers Racing) with Race Tech springs and emulators. Eddie works part time for Race Tech of Corona and runs MBR out of his garage, so if you want killer deal on suspension work from an honest guy, drop me a message and I'll provide you with his point of contact. Can't wait to try these babies out!

On top of the fork upgrade, the front now sports Speed Merchant's fork adjusters and a SS brake line guide made by BCM.

Sunday Cleaning
After two days of stripping the powder coat, cutting, grinding, filing, sanding, and scotch-briting, the legs are free of all casting marks and sharp edges. The tabs are here to stay since I run a front brake and a fork brace. The top tree also got some attention and is now missing the headlight bucket tabs. Tedious and time consuming but well worth it in the end.
I should be picking up some parts from the powder coater tomorrow, so the Sporty should be put together by Friday. Until then, I will be giving the same treatment to other parts that needs some loving, including these riser bottoms to match this bad-ass Biltwell top clamp.

Making Changes for the New Year
Tore the bike down to make some major changes. First, everything will be re-powder coated including the wheels. Then the forks and shocks will be rebuilt, and lastly the 1200 conversion.
