You asked for it...

Some more stuff I've been working on just for you. I made an aluminum oil bag with a 1/2" polycarbonate side just for kicks, and since I had some extra pieces at my work. It measures 6" dia x 9" long and holds 3.5qts. If you want it get a hold of me.
I also made some classy stainless weld-in fuel bungs. One is 1/4 npt and the other is for 3/8 id hose when using an inline petcock. $25 ea shipped.Different designs on the way or if you want something special you know the drill.

Tatuesday

I'm gonna get a ship tattoo like this one but from the stern (back) side to show the classy curves, detailed night lantern, tall sails, and her name. My side would be perfect for this. I'm gonna give Greggo a call.

Sweet, sweet Friday

B of Fucking A(ssholes)

Rant begin....

After hearing that my friend got laid off only to be rehired at 65% of his original salary leaves me to realize that this "strategy" has not been to help save a struggling company, but to keep profits at a maximum while employees are forced to accept whatever offer is made to them, or hit the unemployment line. Corporate greed has hit a new low, folks, all this while you watch the nightly news of "living within your means" stories that, while I support, but is more of a movement started by , guess who, who would like you to get in deeper debt by reducing your salary, raising prices, and making us submit and obey whatever instruction is given. This downward spiral is going to make slaves out of everyone if something ( I do not know what) is done. Run or ride for the hills....

....rant over!

Start the week off right....

Take advantage of daylight savings time. You now can light up someone's day longer by doing the things you love. Go ahead, wake up early, with that warm, early morning sunshine coming up over the horizon, you will feel invigorated and refreshed once again. Spring into action.

Lump bump hump badunkadunk day

Zx600 carb set transplant

Many of you know I love me some kawasaki, so I decided to give my 650 a little more hp's. It's a bullet-proof little engine but needs better carburation. 29m smoothbores are the answer but this answer requires you give up your left arm. So I picked up a set of 1989 zx600 keihin cvk, 32mm compared to the stock mikuni vm24ss (ss stands for so sad).

My plans for the near future include new rails, since the spacing doesn't match, some manifold boot adaptor plates w/ a face groove for an o-ring, and custom choke lever.

All this is gonna happen after a top end rebuild and a set of cams from a 1983 gpz750. I'm saving for a wiseco 700cc piston kit which will put this little girl right around 90hp.

Pegs for a fellow Kawi rider

So I was wanting to machine a cross hatch pattern on a set of pegs or something else, and, what do you know, Johnny C from MA emails me wanting a set of pegs for his bobber project. Well shit, I told him, I got just the thing for you. A lot of hand massaging went into these as do all my projects. CNC is cool to make a bunch of parts like my velocity stacks, but one off pieces like these pegs are all manual mill baby. But it doesn't end there cuz its always off to the belt sander and polishing wheel to rid of those pesky machine finishes and sharp edges. I call it blending.
