My friend Sobe came by to pick up an air cleaner and to have me drill some holes to fit the stock vent tubing into the air cleaner instead of running a separate breather. It came out pretty clean and the domed-head banjos are pretty sweet too. Check out the 6-piston tokico springer brake bracket I made for him. Rad, fast bike and stops now too.

2-into-1 Fab-ulous
We started with his Vance & Hines 2-2 shorty exhaust, and chopped the mufflers off added some bends, a stainless 2-1 collector from Cone Engineering and gave it a 30 degree swoop all for less than $100 including the wrap. Go Tim go!!!! BTW, this is Tim's 2009 FI sporty looking very nice outfitted with a beautiful Front St Cycle rear fender which I cut and welded a couple of adjustable bungs with a bat wing which bolts to his stock location. This is the second version of this fender and proves to be the cat's meow and gives it that go-tim-go look we were after. Next up is a sexy fork brace and a radial-mounted tokico to help this MF'er stop.

New Baby
Big thanks to Lou the moto-stork who dropped off my new baby girl, '79 Honda dohc cb750.
She's gonna get plenty of love being that she will give plenty back- around 77hp stock. Plans include reinforced frame & swing arm w/ monoshock, aluminum fish-shaped tank (sounds stupid now) & tail section w/ seat insert, 5-spoke mags w/ monster brakes, and sportbike front-end.

See the Light...
So I had this 1 5/8" dia. glass lens laying round for a while given to me by an old grey beard that insisted I make good use of it. I also had laying around some pieces of cast aluminum 1 1/2 pipe hex bung so why not mate the two and make a tail light out of it. I drilled and tapped the back to mount it to a plate bracket. I made it for whoever wants it, so if you do, let ME know...

Take the Long Way Home
Saturday, I started the morning with a sandwich from Santa Fe Importers that Blue Collar Moto kept talking about, so I headed out there to fill my craving and meet friends and new like-minded freaks. I'm not talking any ordinary sandwich (italian meats, parmesan, olive paste, tomato, thanks man... best ever, toasty). So Mike D proposes we take PCH all the way down to Laguna and cut across to the Ortega Highway to get home. Sounds like fun and them some...so through crowded city streets of Long Beach and Huntington splitting lanes, trying to keep my eyes on the road and off the half-naked beauties lining the sidewalks, and bam..... an open stretch between Newport and Laguna... Mike pins it, I follow suit, dude in a vintage Guzzi right behind us...get to the 74 and gas up and prepare for the twists, turns, usual traffic, and the rush that awaits us...a little bouncy on the hardtail but stayed on the throttle with a bug-filled grin that would make your pet lizard jealous. Go for a ride today and forget about tomorrow. -womp womp
